Cancellation Policy
This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations work on the Karrio Platform for home services and transport bookings. It should be read with our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy.
Important: Cancellation charges depend on booking type, timing, and service progress. The fee and refund shown in the Karrio app when you confirm a cancellation are final for that booking.
1. Home services - instant bookings
- Free cancellation while we are finding a professional.
- A partial cancellation charge may apply once a professional accepts your booking.
- A higher cancellation charge may apply once the professional is on the way.
- Cancellation is not available after the professional arrives or service has started. Please contact support@karrio.in for assistance.
2. Home services - scheduled bookings
- Free cancellation within one hour of booking confirmation when your scheduled slot is more than one hour away.
- A partial charge may apply for cancellations made one to twenty-four hours before the scheduled slot.
- Little or no refund may apply if you cancel within one hour of the scheduled slot, as a professional may already be reserved.
- No-shows may be charged in full.
- After a professional is assigned, progress-based fees apply (similar to instant bookings). Contact support if you need help.
- If we fail to assign a professional within the promised time, you may cancel without penalty.
3. Multi-service bookings
When multiple services are booked together, cancellation charges are calculated based on the status of each service. Whole-order cancellation may not be available; you may need to cancel services individually where permitted in the app.
4. Ride (transport)
- Free cancellation while we are finding a driver or partner.
- Free cancellation for a short period after a driver accepts your ride.
- A cancellation fee may apply after that period or while the driver is on the way.
- A cancellation fee may apply if you cancel after the driver has arrived and before the trip starts.
- Cancellation is not available after the trip has started. Contact support for assistance.
- If you do not show up after the driver arrives, a no-show fee may apply when marked by the partner per platform rules.
- For pay-after rides, if a fee applies you may need to complete payment in the app before cancellation is confirmed.
5. Parcel (transport)
- Free cancellation before a delivery partner is assigned or has collected the parcel, for typical prepaid bookings.
- A cancellation fee may apply if you cancel after the partner has arrived for pickup and before collection.
- Self-serve cancellation is not available after the parcel has been collected. Contact support@karrio.in.
- Any applicable fee may be deducted from the refund amount shown in the app.
6. How to cancel
Open your booking in the Karrio app and follow the cancellation flow. Review the displayed fee and refund before confirming. For help, email support@karrio.in or use in-app support.
